Gr12 titanium sheet mainly refers to thin,flat rolled materials wih the thickness is less than 5mm, made of Grade 12 meterial(TI-0.3Mo-0.8Ni).We can provide sheet with thickness ranging from 0.5-5.0mm, the length and width are usally 1000x2000mm(also can customized according to client's opnion)

Gr12 titanium sheet is accoring to ASTM B265, the processing technology is cold rolling,which primarilly used to hot-rolled plates thinner dimensions,improving surface quality,dimentsional accuracy and properities.It typically supplied in annealed or cold-worked condition.The surface can be bright pickled,cold rolled(Matte) and abrasive polished.

Gr12 titanium is the a proprietary alloy,recognized for its exceptional corrosion resistance,particularly in challenging reducing acid environments.Its chemical composition includes a small amount of molybdenum and nickel,which synergistically enhance its performance beyong that of pure titanium.It is often hailed as a highly cost-effective alternative to palladium-enhanced alloys(grade 7)for many severe service applications.The tensile strength is not less than 483MPa,yield strength is not less than 345MPa,Elongation is 18% MIN.

1,Enhanced Strength:it offers higher strength and creep resistance than standard pure titanium grades,it is approximately 20-30% stronger than grade 2 while maintaining good ductility.

2,Superior Corrosion Resistance:it has outstanding resistance to a wide range of corrosive media.The addition of molybdenum and nickel drastically improves its performance in reducing acids,such as sulfuric acid,hydrochloric acid and phosphoric acid.It also can improves its performance in crevice corrosion in hot chloride solutions.

3,Excellent Fabricability: it retains the good formability and weldability of pure titanium grades.It can be easily welded using all standard techniques,such as gas tungsten arc welding.It is also suitable for cold forming operations.

4,Cost-Effectiveness:compared to expensive material like grade 7,it offers a superb balance of performance and cost for demanding chemical applications.

1,Compared to grade 7:it provides comparable performance in many applicaitons at a significantly lower material cost.The choice is often an economic one based on the specific corrosive environment.

2,Compared to grade 5:although grade 5 is much stronger but has poorer corrosion resistance in reducing acids and is more difficult to form and weld.Grade 12 is chosen for its corrosion properities.

3,Compared to grade 9:although grade 9 offers higher strength,But in complex chemical processing envirnment,grade 12 offers far superior corrosion resistance.

1,Chemical Processing Industry:it can be maden to heat exchangers,reactors,distillation columns,piping and vessels handling sulfuric,hydrochloric and phosphoric acids.

2,Marine Applications:it can be maden to the components exposed to crevice corrosion in seawater where pure titanium grades may be marginal.

3,Petrochemical and Oil & Gas:it can be maden to downhole and surface equipment,components in refining processes exposed to sour gas and acidic conditions.

4,Power Generation:it can be maden to condenser tubes,heat exchanger tubing and components in flue gas desulfurization systems.

5,Hydrometallurgy:it can be maden to equipment for metal extraction processed involving acidic leach solutions.

6,Pollution Control::it can be maden to scrubbers,decus and stack liners for handling aggressive chemical effluents.
